In this call to praise, we are encouraged to pay attention to the way all of creation gives God glory. We can “make a joyful noise” to the Lord through music and expressions of gratitude, but we can also experience the joyful noise of praise in nature.
Today, spend some time outdoors or next to an open window. Close your eyes and listen. What sounds do you hear? What signs of life are all around you?
In prayer or in song, join your voice with the birds, the breeze, the cars whizzing by, the children in your neighborhood, or whatever sounds you hear, offering praise to God.
