Children are invited to wear their Halloween costumes and Trick or Treat in the church parking lot on Sunday, October 29th, following the Chili Cook-Off.

Join us for the second annual FMUMC Chile Cook-Off on Sunday, October 29th following the 11:00 Celebration Sunday worship service (note that this is a different worship time for that day only!). You can bring a crock pot full of your best chili for a chance to take home the red hot pepper traveling trophy or you can vote on your favorite.

Join us for a special day of celebration with an adjusted schedule for that day only on Sunday, October 29th! Sunday school for all ages will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by worship, during which we will turn in our commitment cards, at 11:00 a.m.. A chili cook-off will be held after worship and Trunk-or-Treat for the kids will follow.

Bring your spare change to church Sunday, October 15, to purchase a biscuit with honey from the Sunday School kids. The money will go toward purchasing the Heifer International Gift Ark.

This service of repentance and contemplation will be held on Wednesday, February 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in the Activity Center.

Come and have one last hurrah before you begin your Lenten fast! Come and enjoy even if you aren’t planning to fast! We’ll learn more about Shrove Tuesday, have activities for the kids, and maybe even have a pancake race of our own. A free-will offering will be taken to cover the cost of the meal.

Celebrate Jesus as we listen to and sing about the story of his birth. Raise your candles as a sign that the light of Christ continues to shine in the darkness
